Deborah Newbould is the founder and driving force behind The Agape Generation Foundation, a registered charity rooted in compassion, creativity, and the power of seeing people - truly seeing them. The vision first stirred in her heart in 2015, after the Paris terrorist attacks. As she prayed for the city, overwhelmed by heartbreak and helplessness, a deep longing rose within her: We need a generation that loves without limits. A love that doesn’t stop at race, gender, or social status - a love that transcends all boundaries. In that moment, the phrase Agape Generation came to her, capturing the heart of what she knew the world was aching for: radical, unconditional love.

Born in Ealing and now living with her husband Jonathan - whom she met at Staffordshire University - Deborah works in the NHS, but her passion spills far beyond the healthcare system. A lifelong blogger since the age of 14, she’s always had a heart for words, expression, and the creative spark in others. In recent years, that spark has become a flame - for the creatives who are bursting with potential, but locked out by lack. Lack of resources, lack of opportunity, lack of access.

As a foundation, we believe that YAHWEH, the God of the universe is the most creative being that exists - and that each person carries a reflection of that creativity. But when someone’s creativity is stifled by technological poverty, something sacred is lost. That’s why The Agape Generation Foundation exists: to provide creative technology - like cameras, laptops, instruments, and software - to individuals who would otherwise go without. Because access can be the difference between silence and a voice, between despair and purpose. Between surviving and thriving.

The foundation is built on the scripture Luke 7:44, where Jesus turns and says, “Do you SEE this woman?” In the original Greek, the word used - blepō - doesn’t mean to simply look. It means to truly behold, to perceive with full attention and understanding. It’s a love that notices. A love that dignifies. That’s the heart of the charity: to cultivate a world where people are not overlooked, but truly seen - and empowered to become all they were created to be.

The Agape Generation Foundation’s dream is profound: What if we all began to see one another like that? What if we used our resources, our love, and our creativity to lift others into their own? We believe in the power of “together.”

Together, we can unlock destinies. Together, we can break cycles. Together, we can be a generation marked by agape love.
